One Room Challenge

One Room challenge Week Three

Where I am at

How does time seem to move this fast? I think I have made most of my decisions now which is a pretty big deal for me. Ordered a huge rug to take over the room. I am not a fan of my floor tiles but they are in the kitchen , dining room and living room and I do not have the budget right now. My paint went on a bit of a trip around Ireland with the courier, but I am so happy to say all the walls are now painted. The colour from Dulux Cameo Silk 3, is absolutely gorgeous. It’s a white shade but the best shade of white. I went for the vinyl matt and it was such a dream to work with, excellent coverage and just really easy to use.

This week

This week I  am putting up the plant wall. I ordered floating shelve brackets and I needed a wider shelf so the wood will be arriving this week. Cannot wait to get those up and really see how the little plant pots I casted from last week will look. One of the last decisions I have to make is on the lighting. Finding lighting very hard to choose from, because the light fittings I love are always in their thousands price wise. But I have narrows down the below and think that the pink glass might be the winner.

Making this gorgeous blanket next week. It nice to have different interesting textures, so I ordered this blanket kit off a great Irish company called Olannmor. I’ll be mixing this blanket in with the punch needle cushions and velvets.

Here is a sneaky peak of my sofa of dreams by DFS designed ny Grand Designs. It’s all sustainably made, even this gorgeous mustard velvet. It bounces light all over the room and is a real show stopper.

Disclaimer: this sofa was gifted to me by DFS

So I really need to get a wall completed this week, thats my aim. I also have to speed it up a little.

If you are in the challenge too. please leave your website below so I can follow along!
